Pierce the Veil is a post-hardcore band from California, formed by the Fuentes brothers Vic and Mike in 2006 and one of the only bands I’m listening to which still exists. In 2007 the band released it’s first album called A Flair for the Damatic which was recorded with only the Fuentes brothers after the disbandment of Before Today. All songs from that album have been written by Vic and Mike. Soon after, Pierce the Veil acquired two new members Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado. In June 10 2010 the band released it’s second album Selfish Machines. Their second record made it to the top on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts. In the same year, Pierce the Veil covered Bruno Mars’ song just the way you are. Collide with the Sky, their third album, came out last year (2012) and contains a really great song called King for a Day which was also releaseed as single. For those of you, who have never heard from the band before: This band is probably one of the greatest EVER so make sure that you’ll check it out to fill your gap in education.
