Fall Out Boy – My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark

Fall Out Boy just released it’s first single called My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark and I’ve got to say that this song is AWESOME! The style is a bit different from the other songs I know and it flows a little bit into the genre of dance and electro pop. To be honest, I never thought, that a pop punk band like Fall Out Boy would ever produce a song like My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark and the genre of dance and electro pop has never really been my style either. Why do I love it that much then? Well, the reason is simple: It’s still different from the other dance and electro pop songs but acording to the lyrics or even just the title you still see the style of Fall Out Boy gleaming through the song. And different is always good. There are situations in life where you have to take risks, reinvent yourself and have a look at the world through a different pair of glasses. But never loose yourself no matter how crazy you go. And that’s exactly what Fall Out Boy Did. So I can barely wait until their next album called Save Rock and Roll is comming out worldwide on May the 6th and 7th 2013! How is the record going to sound like? Different? A change of style? But first like Libba Bray used to say:

“And that is how change happens.  One gesture.  One person.  One moment at a time.”  – or in Fall Out Boy’s case: one song.
